This policy explains what Reno Bag Company does with the information you give us through this website, what the website collects on its own, and which third-party services are involved. It covers renobagcompany.com and nothing else — we do not operate an app, a customer portal or a mailing list.

Reno Bag Company is a bulk bag supplier based in Reno, Nevada, operating as a service-area business. We do not publish a street address, and we do not have a retail premises you can visit.

What we collect, and when

Information you send us deliberately

The only information Reno Bag Company asks for is what you type into one of the two forms on this site — the general enquiry form on our contact page and the quote form on our quote page. Between them those forms ask for:

• Your name
• Your email address, which is required so we can reply
• Your phone number, if you choose to give it
• Your company name, on the quote form only
• Your industry and the bag type you are interested in, chosen from a list
• An approximate quantity, on the quote form only
• Whatever you write in the message field

Only the name, email address and message are required. Everything else is optional and exists to let us quote more accurately. We do not ask for payment details anywhere on this website, and there is no checkout — if you place an order with Reno Bag Company it happens by email, phone or purchase order, outside this site.

Please do not send us information you would not want sitting in an ordinary business email inbox. A quote enquiry does not need anything sensitive, and the notification email these forms produce is not an encrypted channel.

Information collected automatically

Like any website, this one is served by infrastructure that logs requests. Our host records the ordinary technical details of a request — IP address, timestamp, the page requested, browser user-agent and referring page — for security, abuse prevention and diagnostics. Reno Bag Company does not use those logs to build a profile of you and does not attempt to identify individual visitors from them.

Beyond those host logs, this website runs no analytics of any kind. There is no Google Analytics tag, no measurement script and no third-party counter on any page. We do not know which of our product pages you read, how long you stayed, or where you went next. What we learn about what is useful, we learn from the enquiries people send us.

Cookies and local storage

Reno Bag Company sets no advertising, marketing or remarketing cookies of any kind. There is no Meta pixel, no advertising tag and no cross-site tracking on this website.

One thing does store data in your browser:

• The accessibility toolbar's preferences. If you turn on larger text, higher contrast, reduced motion or any of the other toggles, that choice is saved in your browser's local storage so it survives to your next visit. It never leaves your device, it is not sent to us, and clearing your browser data removes it.

The bot check on our forms, described below, may also set a short-lived cookie as part of confirming that a submission came from a person.

What we do with it

Information you send through a form is used to answer you and to quote your job. In practice that means reading it, specifying a bag against it, replying to you, and keeping the correspondence so that the next conversation does not start from nothing.

Reno Bag Company does not sell your information. We do not rent, trade or share it with anyone for their own marketing purposes, and we do not add you to a mailing list on the strength of an enquiry — there is no mailing list to add you to. If we contact you after a quote it is about that quote.

Third-party services we actually use

These are the only external services involved in running this website. Each one receives data only because it is part of how the site works.

• Cloudflare hosts the site and serves every page. It processes request data as described under automatic collection, and its network sits in front of the site for performance and security.
• Cloudflare Turnstile is the bot check on both forms. It runs when you submit and tells our form handler whether the submission looks automated. It is a privacy-preserving alternative to an image puzzle and does not ask you to identify objects in photographs.
• Cloudflare Workers KV may hold a short-lived counter keyed to a request's IP address, used to rate-limit form submissions. Counters expire automatically and are not readable as a history of your visits.
• Resend delivers the notification email that a form submission produces. The contents of your message pass through Resend on the way to our inbox, in the same way any email passes through a mail provider.

There is no embedded map on this site, no chat widget, no comment system and no social media tracking script. If that changes, this list changes with it.

How long we keep it

Enquiry correspondence is kept as ordinary business records — long enough to serve you, to honour a quote, and to meet the record-keeping obligations that apply to a supplier. Where an enquiry does not lead anywhere, there is no reason for Reno Bag Company to hold it indefinitely, and you are welcome to ask us to delete it.

There is no analytics data to retain, because none is collected. Host request logs are kept for a short operational period and then discarded.

Your choices

There is nothing here to opt out of. This site sets no analytics or advertising cookies, so there is no tracking to decline and no consent banner to dismiss. Blocking third-party scripts in your browser costs you nothing on this site — every page works the same either way.

You can ask what we hold. Write to us and we will tell you what correspondence we have from you and delete it if you would rather we did not. Depending on where you live you may have a formal right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your information; we will honour a reasonable request whether or not a statute compels it, and we will not charge you for it.

You can simply call instead. If you would rather not put anything into a web form, the phone number and email address on our contact page reach the same people, and a phone call leaves no record on this website at all.

Children

This is a business-to-business industrial supply website. It is not directed at children, it has nothing on it aimed at them, and Reno Bag Company does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us something, tell us and we will delete it.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, the forms are protected by a bot check and rate limiting, and the form handler validates and escapes everything it receives before composing an email from it. Reno Bag Company takes reasonable measures to protect the information you send.

We are not going to tell you that transmission over the internet is perfectly secure, because it is not, and any policy that says otherwise is overpromising. Send us what a quote needs and no more.

Changes to this policy

If what the site does changes, this page changes with it, and the "last updated" date at the top moves. Reno Bag Company will not quietly add a tracking service and leave this text describing a site that no longer exists — the list of third-party services above is meant to be checkable against what the site actually loads.

Governing law

Reno Bag Company operates from the State of Nevada, and this policy is governed by the laws of the State of Nevada without regard to its conflict-of-laws provisions.
