These terms govern your use of renobagcompany.com, the website of Reno Bag Company, a bulk bag supplier operating from Reno, Nevada. By using this site you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the site — the phone number on our contact page reaches us either way.

What this website is

This site describes the bags Reno Bag Company supplies and lets you send us an enquiry. That is the whole of its function. It has no online ordering, no shopping cart, no customer account and no payment processing, and it never asks for card or bank details. If you are ever prompted for payment information on a page that appears to be this website, it is not this website.

A quote request is not an order

Sending the form on our quote page or the enquiry form on our contact page starts a conversation. It does not place an order, it does not reserve stock, and it does not create a contract between you and Reno Bag Company.

Equally, a quote we send you is an offer to supply on stated terms, not a completed sale. An order exists once Reno Bag Company has acknowledged it. Until then, either side can walk away without owing the other anything.

Terms of sale travel with the quote

The commercial terms of any supply — price, quantity, specification, lead time, delivery, payment terms and the warranty position — are set out in the quote and the order acknowledgement for that job, not on this page.

That is deliberate rather than an omission. Reno Bag Company quotes bespoke specifications against a customer's material, weight and handling, so a single set of published terms could not describe the actual deal on any given order. Where the documents for your order and anything on this website disagree, the documents for your order govern.

The technical information on this site

The product and industry pages on this website explain how bulk bags are specified — safety factors, fabric weave, UV degradation, FIBC static types, UN package marking. That material is published to help you have a better-informed conversation with us, and we have tried hard to make it accurate.

It is general information about a product category. It is not a specification for your job, and it is not engineering, safety or regulatory advice. A bag suitable for one operation can be entirely wrong for another handling the same material, which is the point most of these pages are making. Do not select a package for a real application from a web page — including this one. Send us the details and we will specify against them.

Material that is regulated or hazardous

Where material must be transported as dangerous goods, the shipper is responsible for offering it in a compliant package. Reno Bag Company will tell you what a package we supply is certified for, and will say plainly when your material requires a tested and marked UN-certified package rather than something cheaper.

Nothing here is a guarantee of regulatory compliance.

The same applies to combustible dust. Choosing between FIBC types B, C and D depends on a hazard assessment of your site — including whether a Type C bag can reliably be grounded on every fill — and that assessment is yours to make. We will help you think it through and we will refuse to quote a type our own reading of your description does not support, but the responsibility for the safety case does not transfer to us.
