Utility-scale solar covers ground — thousands of acres, tens of thousands of foundations, and a material logistics problem spread thinly across all of it. Packaging has to travel to the work rather than wait for it.

Nevada is built for solar, and solar is built on aggregate

The state’s irradiance and available land have made it one of the strongest utility-scale solar markets in the country. What that looks like on the ground is a civil project spread across an enormous footprint.

Foundations, ballast, access roads and cable trenching all consume aggregate, and because the array covers so much ground, the material has to be distributed rather than centrally staged.

Sun is the hidden variable

Solar sites have the longest outdoor exposure of anything we supply. Bags delivered at the start of a programme may not be filled for months, sitting in full desert sun the entire time.

Untreated polypropylene loses tensile strength under that exposure, and the loss is invisible until a bag fails under load. On a solar programme, UV treatment is not an upgrade — it is the specification.
